To ensure the profitability of the service line by designing Business Development and Communication Strategic Plan, Programs and guidelines; planning, leading, monitoring, evaluating business development activities, maintaining strong communications with GTI’s member firms and clients, engage top management on all communication issues, guarding the reputation of the Firm.

Major Job Descriptions:

  • Plans, organizes, co-ordinates and oversees overall activities of Business Development, and communication activities of the Firm;
  • Leads all business development initiatives with clear KPIs, seeks regular tender/bid information from relevant sources, and ensures that proposals are prepared in advance with utmost accuracy, and confirms that submissions are made in due course with subsequent actions as a follow up;
  • Establishes effective vertical, horizontal and informal communication internally with in the Firm and conduct in a sustainable manner;
  • Further builds the global image and reputation of the Firm;
  • Strengths the relationship of GTE with GTI, GT member firms, clients and other stakeholders;
  • Plans and executes business development programs to expand market share and customer acceptance leading to revenue growth;
  • Engages and advises Partners in business development opportunities and key events where the Firm should become a Thought-Leader;
  • Assesses the attitude of the customers’ experience towards the Firm, conducts business development audit whenever necessary and report the result to the Partners on a regular basis;
  • Organizes regular client visit to prospect customers, officials and other stakeholders;
  • Organizes participation in exhibition and internal and external displays. Represents GTE in different meetings, official events and promotional activities;
  • Trains all internal staff to develop business development and communication skill compliant to GTI standards as well as the Firm’s vision and aspirations;
  • Establishes and maintains teamwork spirit with effective communication in the Firm. Builds the pride of the Firm on the staff;
  • Liaises with other Service Line Managers to create understanding on client management and engagement; maintains good work relationships to timely address client related issues, concerns;
  • Prepare periodic reports and budget utilization concerning the activities of the BD per the reporting requirements of the Firm;
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Job Requirements

Educational and Experience Required

  • BA and MBA in Business Management, Marketing, Sales and other related fields
  • 8 years’ experience for BA holders and 6 years’ experience for MBA holders in Business Development, Market Research, Business Consulting, Marketing and related fields.

Ability and Skill Required

  • Having a good understanding of business development process and tools.
  • Able to work multiple tasks efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
  • High-level communication skills.
  • Stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to negotiate.
  • Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy.
  • Conflict resolution.
  • The ability to self-motivate and motivate a team.
  • Experience working to and exceeding targets.
