Location: Wolaita Sodo and Addis Ababa

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an innovative, an energetic and driven business development associate to join our growing team. The individual in this role would be responsible to help drive our sales and grow the business, analyzing our customer base and current sales strategies and identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and profitability. We are seeking a candidate who is creatively minded and eager to think outside the box when it comes to our customers and their needs. You will attract new clients and build solid relationships with them while maintaining existing relationships. Other duties will include market research, developing business strategies and pitches, managing a variety of projects, and identifying new business opportunities. You will work with various departments and report to the Head of Agro-processing Industries. The successful applicant will be resourceful, organized and motivated to increase sales, enhance the company’s reputation, and look for new and creative ways to market our products. Candidates
with a background in Food Processing Plant Project development or marketing or sales who are analytically minded and motivated will do well in this role

JOB REQUIREMENT

• PhD Degree or MA Degree in business management, marketing, or related field from recognized University
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure
• Strong organization and project management skills
• Friendly and personable demeanor.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software
• Willingness to work long hours when required

Work experience:

About 6-9 years’ relevant work experience in business development or similar field preferred Work experience in the food or beverage manufacturing industry is advantageous
