What you will learn and contribute to

  • Back-office Management is the leadership and management of all/some of the centralized Network Operations functions, which includes: Fault Management, Performance Management, Configuration Management, OSS Administration.
  • Responsibility is also for the Second level support for Cloud Core, IP, Security, Fixed, Fiber Optics Network, RAN when maintenance teams are not able to fix problems.
  • Training the Level 2 back-office SME engineers on new features deployed in the network.
  • Produce and maintain quality standards and documents
  • Liaise with customers and/or vendors as point of contact at senior technical level.
  • Inspires others and drives multiple projects independently, requiring minimal supervision
  • NOC Team, SLM Team, Management & Employee Motivation
  • Responsible for back-office operations for Core, Radio, IP, OSS administration and transmission network escalations
  • Responsible for back-office operations for Core, Radio, IP, OSS administration and transmission network Reporting
  • Responsible for back-office operations for Core, Radio, IP, OSS administration and transmission budgeting
  • Ensures Escalation control and management for Network events
  • Ensures NOC and back-office tools capability needs
  • Ensures operations processes and procedures are adhered, regularly reviewed and updated
  • Ensures NOC operational performance levels to SLA/OLA applicable
  • Liaison with 3rd Party for complex technical cases
  • Liaison for escalated NOC and back-office operations for Core, Radio, IP and transmission Network matters
  • Undertake special assignments to resolve Network Operations issues
  • Responsible for 2nd level support on all escalated incidents by analysing faults, troubleshooting, researching existing knowledgebase articles/known issues and responsible for initiating and managing escalation to vendor L3 support.
  • Review cases for technical complexity and make recommendations to team members with regards escalation according to MS best practices and in accordance to agreed SLA.

Your skills and experience

  • 10-15 years’ Experience in back office management including back office operations for Core, Radio, IP, OSS administration and transmission.
  • Experience in any of the following domains such Radio Networks, Cloud Architecture, cybersecurity architecture, security engineering, network engineering, systems engineering, IP transport, and IPMPLS
  • Good Understanding of Cloud Core Networks

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree/Software/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
