The National Bank of Ethiopia was established in 1963 by proclamation 206 of 1963 and began operation in January 1964. Prior to this proclamation, the Bank used to carry out dual activities, i.e. commercial banking and central banking. The proclamation raised the Bank’s capital to Ethiopian dollars 10.0 million and granted broad administrative autonomy and juridical personality. Following the proclamation the National Bank of Ethiopia was entrusted with the following responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensures vehicles are returned to NBE premise at the right time after delivering services to users.
• Assigns appropriate driver and vehicle for requested transport service.
• Follows up all maintenance & insurance related transactions of Bank’s vehicles and record up to date information.
• Avails and follows up fuel related transactions of Bank’s vehicles and record up to date information.
• Assist with the planning and management of fleet services such as repairs, preventive maintenance, and disposal in line with established policies and procedures.
• Perform the duties as assigned by immediate supervisor

Education & Experience

• Diploma or above in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Management, Business Management, Accounting,
• Accounting and Finance and Banking and Finance.
• 6/2 years of relevant experience for diploma and 1stdegree holder, respectively and for diploma holder CoC Level IV obligatory.
• Age shall not exceed 40 years.
