keep up to date on ever-changing customs and trade regulations to comply with customs regulations, check if additional permits required for the importation of certain parts, analyse tariffs, taxes, logistics costs, and possible customs obstacles.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Make preliminary document checking and report if there is a missing document to process customs procedure.
• Plan the time of declaration finalization and perform up on the plan,
• Find and assign the exact tariff amount for every single item as per declaration from HS code,
• Register the declaration on the customs system and prepared VDD
• Consult and if necessary, make an explanation to customs officers physically,
• Check & review draft tax as well as any related tax.
• Provide consultation regarding tax and tariffs, send tax and additional tax amount calculated by custom.
• Take responsibilities related to assessment tasks,
• Prepare weekly duty payable and pre-alert finance and report actual weekly and monthly duty payments.
• Cooperate with other internal departments as required and perform other related duties as required.
• Prepare, weekly and monthly reports to the department head.
