Harambee University was founded in 2002 G.C. in Ethiopia, Oromia Regional State in Adama City Geda Kebele with the aim of enhancing the development of education sector. The Word “Harambee” is an African Motto which has taken from Swahili Language, which means “forget the past, and Let us work together”. The University was primarily founded as center for learning foreign languages especially English language in Adama.
