Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review and approve the daily movements.
• Recording the daily accounting movements on the systems.
• Follow up on bank movements and their settlements.
• Preparing the required periodic reports.
• Maintains accounting accounts and controls the accuracy of the accounting records of partners and beneficiaries.
• Reviewing the records of payments in the accounting systems approved by Qatar Charity.
• Preparing reports for the Ethiopia Tax Department.
• Follow up the cash flows periodically and report them to the management.
• Working on the applicable regulations of Qatar Charity Association.
• Periodically submit analytical reports of the financial status of Qatar Charity’s projects and programs.
• Other tasks assigned to him by the management.

Job Requirement

Qualification:

• Bachelor degree in accounting
• Proficiency in working in accounting, tax and financial programs
• He has experience in Demex and Dynamics 365. At least five years of experience in the field of accounting
• Preferably a member of the Accountants Association (Chartered Accountant)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Fluency in Arabic (as a prerequisite for the job, both speaking and reading), English and the local language must be proficient
• Priority is given to those who are fluent in Arabic
• Possess good communication skills
