Purpose of work:

Ensure the integrity of accounting information by researching account issues for compliance and by establishing quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare a financial activity plan in consultation with the head of administration and finance
• Controlling that the accounting of financial activity follows financial procedures and guidelines and regulations;
• Record the financial activities of the organization supported by data on a daily basis in the journal.
• Making daily account balances,
• Making any payment by ledger card, waiting
• Ensuring that the organization’s accounting system is in compliance with the country’s tax and other laws,
• Proper handling of financial records, control and transfer records, forms and forms;
• Verifying, recording and reconciling accounting transactions
• Prepare and submit accounting reports that are free from errors
• Examining the company’s income and expense reports and presenting the company’s financial situation to the higher authorities
• Providing support and consulting services to senior management
• Provide and implement improvement ideas for accounting systems and guidelines
• Participate in the planning process for the work unit
• Preparation of financial statements, regular preparation of budgets
• Supporting internal and external regulatory processes;
• Supporting the monthly year end accounting processes;
• Provide information, reports and other requested assistance to the Finance Department as needed
• Accountability: Head of Finance and Administration Department

Job Requirements

Qualification

• Proven experience as an accountant
• Knowledge of accounting procedures and basic truths
• Experience in preparing financial statements
• General experience in monthly/yearly account closing procedures for Gerna
• Advanced knowledge of accounting software (eg Peachtree)
• The ability to do tasks without mistakes and evaluate them in detail
• Talented and experienced in working with numbers and formulas
• Degree in Accounting or Finance and 3 years of experience
