Found 135km Northwest of Addis Ababa and close to the Addis Ababa-Debremarekos road, East Cement S.C resting on 24.35 hectares plot of land has the capacity to produce 800,000 tons of cement annually and employs 400 local workers at a cost of 100 million dollars, began running in November 2011. As one of the biggest cement factories in Ethiopia, the factory produces the best quality product of Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) and Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC) with competitive price in the market. The plant is contributing to reduce the current shortage in cement in Ethiopia, help reduce prices and make a highly positive impact on the local economy and poverty alleviation. About You

Qualification:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting;
• Sound understanding of accounting principles;
• Excellent analytical skills;
• Good Peachtree knowledge, accounting software;
• IFRS based accounting training Certificate;
• High efficiency for communicating with different government departments, attention detail;
• Fluent oral and written English & Amharic;
• Computer literacy especially MS Word & Excel and typing in Amharic;
• Ability to work under stressful conditions

Experience:

• Minimum of two (2) solid years in a Manufacturing Environment, cement industry preferable
