Blisstech Engineering PLC is importer of medical equipment, Laboratory equipment as a sole agent in Ethiopia for different international manufacturers and works on services (including software development)
We would like to hire young and competent applicants for the following vacant position.

Position: Accountant

Tasks and responsibilities

• Operate the sales register machine properly according to the regulations set by the Ethiopian customs and revenue authority
• Prepare monthly payroll and VAT declaration.
• Report/pay Government taxes, withholding to EMOR.
• Produce internal reports for decision-making purposes as required.
• Prepare yearly financial statements and close books of accounts.
• Give appropriate explanations for Government bodies(MOR) and External Auditors on behalf of the company when required.
• Ensure that finance administration activities are carried out as per the standard.
• Reminding the organization’s owners of financial irregularities, non-compliance, non-adherence, and other financial concerns that relate to the organization.
• Liaison with the external auditor and take the responsibility for the on-time clearance of all obligatory financial matters of the company.

Qualifications

• BA Degree in Accounting
• Two years experience
