Job Description


The ERP & ICT Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the IT department at National Transport PLC. This full-time position is designed for junior-level candidates with 1-3 years of experience, focusing on enhancing the company’s ERP systems and ICT infrastructure. The assistant will work in an office environment in Addis Ababa, collaborating with team members to ensure efficient technology operations and effective communication across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the maintenance and support of ERP systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide technical support for ICT-related issues, troubleshooting and resolving problems promptly.
  • Collaborate with team members to gather and document user requirements for system enhancements.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Participate in the implementation of new software and system upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of processes, procedures, and user guides.
  • Facilitate training sessions for staff on using ERP and ICT tools effectively.
  • Monitor system performance and report any issues to senior IT staff.
  • Support the development and execution of IT projects, ensuring timelines and goals are met.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback on IT initiatives.
