The HR Officer will be responsible for managing day-to-day human resource operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HR documentation. This role is key to creating a positive workplace culture and ensuring alignment with labor laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and support the recruitment process (job postings, shortlisting, interviews, onboarding).
• Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
• Ensure compliance with Ethiopian Labor Proclamation and company policies.
• Handle employee relations and support conflict resolution processes.
• Facilitate performance appraisal processes and probation evaluations.
• Manage leave tracking, attendance, and other time-related records.
• Assist with training and development initiatives.
• Prepare HR reports and support audits when necessary.
• Participate in HR policy reviews and development.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant HR experience.
• Good understanding of Ethiopian labor laws and HR practices.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations professionally.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
