Position Summary:

The Head of Marketing department is a strategic leader responsible for driving the company’s growth through comprehensive market research, innovative business development strategies, and effective marketing initiatives. This role involves leading a team to identify market opportunities, develop business plans, execute market expansion strategies, and ensure customer satisfaction. The Head will also play a key role in shaping the company’s overall business strategy and ensuring its alignment with market trends and customer needs.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Planning:

  • Develop and implement the overall market research and business development strategy, aligning it with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Lead the development and execution of the company’s business plan, including financial projections and resource allocation.
  • Identify and analyze emerging market trends, competitive landscapes, and potential business opportunities.
  • Conduct SWOT analyses to assess the company’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
  • Oversee the development and management of the department’s budget.
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of market research and business development initiatives.

Market Research & Analysis:

  • Design and conduct market research studies to understand customer needs, preferences, and market dynamics.
  • Analyze market data and provide insights to inform business decisions and product development.
  • Monitor competitor activities and identify potential threats and opportunities.
  • Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and analyze feedback to improve service delivery.

Business Development & Growth:

  • Identify and evaluate potential new business ventures, partnerships, and market expansion opportunities.
  • Develop and implement market entry strategies for new products and services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including potential customers, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Lead the development of compelling value propositions and marketing materials.
  • Oversee the implementation of market expansion and diversification projects.

Marketing & Promotion:

  • Develop and implement marketing and promotion strategies to enhance brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Oversee the creation of marketing collateral, including brochures, website content, and social media posts.
  • Manage the company’s public relations and media outreach efforts.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop effective sales strategies and materials.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.

Team Management & Development:

  • Lead, manage, and mentor the market research and business development team.
  • Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Identify training and development opportunities for team members.

Reporting & Communication:

  • Prepare and present regular reports on market research findings, business development activities, and marketing performance to senior management.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
About You

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Marketing Management, Business Management, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized university.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in market research, business development, and marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior management role. OR Bachelor’s degree in the same fields with 10 years of experience, including 4 years in a leadership or senior management role.

Proven experience in the Automotive Industry is required

  • Proven ability to develop and execute market research and business development strategies.
  • Deep understanding of marketing principles and best practices.
