Job Description


Job Purpose:

  • To sell group’s goods and merchandise directly from van or truck and identifies new sales opportunities, informing regular customers of new products, and meeting sales targets.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Increases sales and grows the van sales territory by building relationships with new and existing customers and provides excellent customer service
  • Develops and maintains relationships with existing customers; builds long-term, mutually beneficial, and mutually profitable customer relationships
  • Maintains knowledge of all products and provides sales support to customers, including presentations, demonstrations, and quotes
  • Contributes to group’s sales goals and plans by achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Develops a strong product knowledge in order to effectively sell and promote products to customers.
  • Maintains accurate records of stock levels, sales figures and customer information.
  • Delivers purchase orders and informs existing customers of new products.
  • Liaises with other departments to ensure optimal customer services.
  • Prevents damage to the delivery van and the group’s products being transported.
  • Ensures the cleanliness of the interior and the exterior of the van.
  • Maintains sales and delivery records, as well as meeting sales targets.
  • Establishes, develops and maintains positive business and customer relationships
  • Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Coordinates sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Replenishments to outlets as and when necessary in additional to regular daily sales call.
  • collects payments and maintains an accurate record and prepares sales reports.
  • Performs other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
About You

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management, Business Administration, or Salesmanship or Economics or related field of studies
  • At least 3 years of work experience as Sales officer in manufacturing Campany.

Requirements Skill:

  • Proven sales experience.
  • Sound knowledge of sales strategies and industry regulations.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and consultative sales skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills
