Position Description

A Data Center Engineer’s job involves managing and maintaining the infrastructure and operational aspects of data centers. They ensure the reliability and efficiency of IT systems, servers, and network connections from pre-sale engineering to post-sale deployment.

Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Lead the pre-sales process for Datacenter Infrastructure solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proposed solutions align with client standards.
  • Lead the development of technical bid responses for RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
  • Ensure bid responses address all technical requirements and demonstrate the company’s expertise.
  • Involve in solution lifecycle from concept to delivery, ensuring solutions meet client expectations and company objectives.
  • Assist technical advisor and subject matter expert for clients and internal teams.
  • Design Implementations of servers, network systems, and data center infrastructure to ensure high availability and security
  • Familiar with information system planning and implementation
  • Involved in planning and executing data center expansions or upgrades

Salary: Negotiable but Attractive

About You

Required Qualifications and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information technology or a related fields
  • Certifications such as Cisco’s CCNA or Huawei’s HCIA, AutoCAD  and related are advantageous
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience with data center infrastructure management (DCIM) tools and alike
  • Essential skills include expertise in networking, understanding of HVAC and electrical systems
  • Proficiency in operating systems like Linux or Windows & familiarity with virtualization software
  • Strong problem solving abilities, effective communication skills
  • Professionalism & interpersonal skills
