BIOS Engineering & Trading PLC is an Information & Communication Technology (ICT) business firm that provides a wide range of IT products and services to various institutions and enterprises that support them automate, modernize & digitalize their business operations with established partnership with giant ICT companies worldwide and pool of specialized staff engineers, and broad technical expertise.

Position Description

The Network Engineer will be responsible for leading the pre-sales activities and technical bid responses for network hardware and software solutions, monitoring network performance, and troubleshooting issues to ensure minimal downtime during post-sale deployment.

Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Lead the development of technical bid responses for RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
  • Pre-sale Designing and implementing a network infrastructure based on organizational requirements
  • Installing and configuring network hardware, such as routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Troubleshooting and resolving network issues, including hardware and software problems
  • Collaborating with other IT professionals to develop and implement network security measures
  • Conducting regular network maintenance, including updating software and hardware
  • Documenting network configurations, processes, and procedures
  • Providing network engineering support and training to other team members

Salary: Negotiable but Attractive

About You

Required Qualifications and Abilities:

  • Bachelor science in Electrical Engineering, Computer engineering or electronics engineering
  • Relevant certifications, such  as Cisco’s (CCNA, CCNP), Huawei’s (HCIA, HCIP) and related are advantageous
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in pre-sales, solution architecture, or technical sales roles, preferably in the IT or telecommunications industry
  • Knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
  • Experience with network hardware (routers, switches, and firewalls)
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Professional and organizational skills
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies
