The Head of Cost and Budgeting oversees the entire budgeting and cost management process for Haron Computers PLC and its sister companies. This critical role ensures financial efficiency and strategic resource allocation across the organization. The position demands a proactive approach in managing budget preparations, cost analyses, and financial projections. The Head of Cost and Budgeting works closely with senior management to align financial management with short-term and long-term strategic objectives, fostering financial discipline and accountability across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Budget Management: Lead the annual budget process, provide periodic budget forecasts, and develop flexible budgeting strategies to adapt to changing market conditions.
• Cost Analysis: Conduct detailed cost analysis to identify cost reduction opportunities and enhance profitability.
• Financial Oversight: Oversee the financial operations related to cost and budgeting across all departments, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
• Reporting: Prepare regular and ad hoc financial reports, highlighting trends, variances, and potential challenges.
• Audit and Compliance: Assist the Finance Manager in preparing for audits, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and other financial statutes.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the Senior Accountant and any other finance team members, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at the management team level to improve overall company profitability and cash flow.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with various department heads to ensure budget compliance and address financial queries
