Job Description


Summary

Export managers serve as intermediaries’ between foreign buyers and domestics sellers Responsible for overseeing all aspects of international trade, including developing export markets, managing existing customer relationships, and search for new buyers and ensure compliance with all regulations and laws. Updating himself to have in-depth knowledge of global trade and maintain keen eye for detail. He must be highly organized and have excellent communication skills. Track the international trade and drive to succeed,

Responsibilities

  • Manages the services and performance of vendors, third party providers, and other relationships
  • Oversee and maintain the Harmonized Classification System pertaining to tariff research, binding rules, protests, duty rates, and valuation on import shipments into the U.S. are processed timely and efficiently and in accordance with all applicable laws
  • Review and approve Foreign Visitor Notifications/ plant
  • Review and approve shipping requests
  • Perform other compliance activities as determined by the D/ General Manager Compliance
  • Coordinate communication with Customs brokers and Customs bond underwriters
  • Establish the operational terms and contractual structure for working with Reseller partners
  • Work with various internal and external partners & stakeholders.
  • Widen the scope of export, create, improve, and implement our global import/export strategy
  • Good understanding of the Asia Pacific and others business and cultural environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally and vertically for information
  • Develop and implement export strategies to maximize profits and minimize cost
  • Ensure export documentation such as invoices, packing lists and bills of lading accuracy & timely received.
  • Establish and manage relationships with international partners, including distributors, agents and vendors
  • Monitor international regulations and compliance requirements
  • Negotiate shipping contracts and freight forwarding agreements
  • Liaise with customs authorities and other government bodies to ensure compliance with regulations &proper facilitation of our export issues
  • Ensure the development and maintenances of export databases, records and reports
  • Monitor & evaluate market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback
  • Ensure customer inquiries and complaints are addressed properly & timely
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize export operations
  • Handle any additional duties assigned by the supervisor

Job Requirement

Qualification : Bachelor’s degree in Business management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related fields

Minimum Years of Experience: 5-7 years’ experience in coffee export & logistics is required is required Must be highly analytical with strong attention to details with excellent communication & negotiation skill
