Reporting to General Manager, Sales and Marketing Department Head will be responsible for establishing and directing the marketing and sales activities of the organization including advertising and public relations. These activities affect the direction and goals of business.

Job brief:

We are looking for a Production Manager who will supervisor and oversees company’s production processes to ensure they stay within budget and enhance efficiencies. He/She will be responsible for consistently finding ways to improve an organization’s production processes and structures. Production Managers will consistently review employees and their equipment items to determine where to make enhancements. He/She will work closely with team members to build strategies to maximize their performances. Production Managers will also collaborate with other departments and team members to set goals for the production team. He/She will be in charge of scheduling routine maintenance to keep the equipment running effectively and maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assessing project and resource requirements;
• Estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers;
• Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met;
• Determining quality control standards;
• Overseeing production processes;
• Renegotiating timescales or schedules as necessary;
• Selecting, ordering and purchasing materials;
• Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment;
• Liaising with buyers and marketing and sales staff;
• Supervising and managing the work of junior staff;
• Organizing relevant training sessions;
• Any other task assigned by management.

Requirements

Education & Experience Required:

• At least Advance diploma in General Mechanic / Machinist / related field BSc degree in Mechanical engineering.
• 5 years and above for BSc / seven years and above for diploma, out that at least two years as Production Head.

• Proven experience as production manager;
• Deep knowledge of production management;
• Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations;
• Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts;
• Experience in reporting on key production metrics;
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP software;
• Outstanding communication ability;
• Excellent organizational and leaderships skills;
• Attention to detail;
• Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
