We emphasize effective communication, sustainability, and innovative project management. Notable projects include Wenchi Gebeta Lehager, Chaka Landscape and Greenery, Sheraton Landscape and Greenery Project, Mexico to Sarbet Road Corridor, Adwa 00 Project, and several projects for various embassies.

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Director to join our executive team. The Finance Director will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, developing financial strategies, ensuring the financial health of the company, and supporting long-term growth and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and budgets to support the company’s goals.
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
  • Manage and monitor the company’s financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, both locally and internationally.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting professional development and excellence.
  • Coordinate with project managers to ensure accurate budgeting and financial tracking for all projects.
  • Conduct financial risk assessments and implement risk management strategies.
  • Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with banks, investors, and other financial stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the executive team.
  • Manage cash flow, investment activities, and capital structure planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Experience in the construction or related industry is a plus.
