Job Description


Kerchanshe Group is the largest producer and exporter of coffee in Ethiopia, and engage in manufacturing, agro-processing and export business. It has a proud history of providing quality coffees to the local and international markets. Currently Kerchanshe Group needs a dedicated and motivated candidate.

Job Purpose:

To facilitate efficient support services to the Company by providing vehicle administration service including proper planning, efficient fleet management and timely and cost effective maintenance services.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops and revises transport service provision programs based on the service need of various work units.
  • Ensures there is job order raised and signed off before any vehicles are sent to the garage for routine maintenance or accidental repair.
  • Establishes the system of preventive maintenance and repairs of all vehicles and accessories, ensuring that repairs meet manufacturer’s specifications.
  • Facilitates the annual technical inspection of vehicles and trucks to be performed on time.
  • Oversees regular diagnostic checks of all vehicles and take action for timely and quality maintenance and repair.
  • Ensures the security of all the vehicles of the company including but not limited to
  • Arranging tracking for all the cars within the fleet, engraving all their parts, etc.
  • Monitors and ensures the routine and need-based maintenance of the vehicles in conjunction with the transport operation head.
  • Follows up truck maintenance through fleet officer report.
  • Analyzes the vehicles-wise cost of fueling, maintenance, and other recurring expenses pertaining to running of the fleet.
  • Coordinates with driver supplier agency and concerned departments like
  • Finance, Sales for smooth flow of activities.
  • Supervises the maintenance of the vehicles.
  • Checks that invoices received are accurate and is in line with job order and within budget.
  • Sends timely report on the health of the fleets and other related issues arising from the fleet monitoring system.
  • Checks payment memos for services provided by external contractors.
  • Ensures and implements fleet management and pool cars usage policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Job Requirements

Qualification and Skills : BA degree in Supplies Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Management, Management Information System, or related fields.

Experience: 3 years experience

Skills:

  • Computer literacy, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Time management skills
