Job Description


Kerchanshe Group is the largest producer and exporter of coffee in Ethiopia, and engage in manufacturing, agro-processing and export business. It has a proud history of providing quality coffees to the local and international markets. Currently Kerchanshe Group needs a dedicated and motivated candidate.

Job Purpose:

To support the successful implementation of companywide strategy by acquiring and making on board talented workforce through streamlined HR planning, recruitment, on boarding, and promotion services

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists workforce planning needs of functions in collaboration with senior HR planning and recruitment officer.
  • Assists recruitment, which involves developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
  • Oversees the implementation of policies on issues like working conditions, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures, and absence management.
  • Prepares staff handbooks.
  • Deals with grievances and implements disciplinary procedures.
  • Prepares internal/external notices and advertisements for vacant positions, receive applications and testimonials of candidates for vacant posts.
  • Communicates schedules to interview committee, and communicate these to applicants, in consultation with senior HR planning and recruitment expert.
  • Provides employment letter and other relevant documents to the selected candidates.
  • Delivers all aspects of HR services and regularly provides reports.
  • Provides overall expertise in HRIS, Payroll Processing, records management and separation and be the reference point to the HR team by working closely with the HR operation manager.
  • Assists the manager in implementing disciplinary procedures in accordance with the firm’s policies.
  • Assists exit interviews, identifying trends and recommending actions to address concerns.
  • Performs other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Job Requirements

Qualification and Skills : BA or MA in Human Resource Management/Business Administration/Management/ Public Administration Development Management or related fields.

Experience:

  • 2 years for BA
  • 0 year for MA

Skills:

  • Knowledge of employment and labor laws and regulations.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of HRIS solutions.
  • Computer literacy, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel.
  • Time management skills
