Job Description


Duty and responsibility

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
  • Develop and implement financial budgets for the farm.
  • Track and manage the farm’s financial performance.
  • Oversee the accounting department, including the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Prepare financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
  • Administer the farm’s financial policies and procedures.
  • Advise management on financial matters.
  • Represent the farm to financial institutions and other stakeholders.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in the agriculture industry.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with financial software, such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Ability to speak and write English fluently.
