Responsibilities

• The Import Export Officer I will directly report to the senior Import Export Supervisor.
• Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and controlling the Import/ Export functions assigned.
• Expected to deliver assigned operations of import from initial stage with banks till final delivery of the shipment to ware house.
• Shall handle getting permits with relevant government offices such as Investment offices, EFDA, MOA and any other.
• Shall be responsible for documentation section of the import and export department.
• Export section document handling with banks and customs and daily operation clearance, report handling and sales conducting.

Job Requirements

Skills

• Very good knowledge of Import and export procedures.
• Excellent communication and team work skill.
• Know how on how to operate the Ethiopian electronic single window
• Moderate know how on ERP system ( if any )

Education Back ground: Minimum BA degree in logistics / international Business / Business Administration or related fields

Years of experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in conducting a local import and Export transaction.
