Job Objective:

Is responsible to Lead and mentors the data science team, planning projects and building analytics models. Applies and inspires the adoption of advanced data science and analytics across the organization with strong problem-solving ability and a knack for statistical analysis. Aligns data products with business goals and uses advanced data modeling, predictive modeling and analytical techniques to interpret key findings from company data and leverage these insights into initiatives that will support business outcomes.

Key Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identifies valuable data sources and automate collection processes;
• Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data;
• Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns;
• Builds predictive models & machine-learning algorithms and Combine through ensemble modeling;
• Presents information using data visualization techniques;
• Selects features, builds and optimizes classifiers using machine learning techniques and Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirement

Required Educational Qualification and Work Experience: M.Sc. degree in Data Science, Computer Science or related disciplines with 7 years’ relevant work experience of which 3 years as Senior Data Scientist or related; preferably in financial sector

Mandatory Requirements/Certificates: Ability to undertake data modelling, programming and database design and data visualization, application of open source tools and technologies and ability to coordinate and conduct trainings, ensures knowledge management, identify and share best practices.

Highly Recommended Certificate: Data science Certification, Big data Certification and BI(Visualization) Certification
