Basic Functions:

The Development Program Specialist (Budget) provides strategic, programmatic, and activity design, evaluation, and budgeting guidance to multiple technical offices in Ethiopia and Djibouti. In coordination with the USAID/Djibouti team, the USAID Development Program Specialist (Budget) is responsible for managing the USAID/Djibouti program budget tracking and reporting

Job Requirement

Qualifications required: A minimum of Seven (7) years of progressively responsible prior experience is required in program planning, budgeting, management, and analysis and interpretation of data and presentation of findings in written and oral forms, of which three (3) years within a large international organization.; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Economics, Accounting, Management, or related degree in the field of development. Qualified candidates will be evaluated based on education, experience, and demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Salary Range: The salary range of the position is FSN -12, $27,642 – $49,770 yearly, articulated in U.S. dollars but paid in Birr.
