Job Description


Responsibilities

  • Assists restaurant, Bistro, Pizzeria, and Gallery in creating, maintaining a positive image
  • Publicizes events, special promotions, and other newsworthy events utilizing social media outlets
  • Markets Entoto by developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns
  • Track sales data for each promotion/event; analyze trends; make recommendations to increase sales/attendance
  • Generate new business for events
  • Develop ads and brochures to market restaurant/café
  • Efficiently executes marketing campaigns
  • Works closely with outside vendors to ensure the website is up-to-date
  • Maintain relationships with current clients Business Development:
  • Research markets and identify event opportunities and generate interest for holding events
  • Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing new and existing business relationships
  • Ability to think out-of-the-box for generate new business
  • Prospecting, cold calling, and developing a “book of business”
  • Increase the special events revenue Event Coordination:
  • Able to organize time effectively, forward plan, and prioritize tasks/projects to ensure workload is balanced and urgent situations are dealt with immediately
  • Presents ideas and solutions to meet client’s needs
  • Develop, plan and sell private functions
  • Possess strong negotiating skills
  • Ability to work within strict budget specifications while meeting client’s expectations or deviating from the agreed expectations
  • Work closely with the Operation Director Restaurant Manager and teams to help coordinate and process event orders in all functions
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with various vendors
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines Operations:
  • Daily operations as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA from an accredited College or University
  • Minimum 2 years previous experience in restaurant event-specific sales
  • Ability to execute flawlessly against multiple processes
  • Strong time management and multi-tasking skills
