Job Description


Responsibilities

S/he is accountable to the Executive Director and responsible in organizing, directing, coordinating, planning, implementing and overseeing effectiveness of the project strategies, finance and other resources. The duty station is Addis Ababa with frequent travel to the project sites. The key functions are the following:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of the projects as per agreements, timeline, and budget.
  • Organize and oversee training and learning, stakeholder meeting events and workshops.
  • Maintain and monitor project spending as per respective agreement and plans.
  • Manage and develop project personnel.
  • Monitor & report project progress, case studies, good practices and share using different media.
  • Organize project reviews, baseline and impact assessments, monitoring visits, and evaluations.
  • Prepare proposals for soliciting funding.

Job Requirement

Education: B.Sc/BA degree or above in agriculture, management, economics, or related fields

Experience: 3 years as a program/project manager preferably in an NGO environment

Language skills: Ability to write and communicate orally in English, Afaan Oromo & Amharic with accuracy.
