Job Description


Purpose:

Responsible for the maintaining of the stock in the store in adequate conditions, for accurate stock accuracy and all transaction of the warehouse ( receiving and issuing stock), supervise store staff and ensure safe operation within.

Main Areas of Responsibility:

  • Responsible for proper and safe operation of NTM/FG warehouse, appropriate keeping of stock, all transfer, loading and unloading activates (both within warehouse as well as from/to trucks), proper maintenance of supervised equipment (forklifts, racks, racks shuttle) and its used in line with operation, manufacturers and safety instructions.
  • Responsible for the wellbeing of FG & NTM stock items by ensuring that stock items are properly placed and are protected from dirt, damage, fire, theft, etc. and that overall 5S rules in supervised warehouse are maintained.
  • Ensure FG & NTM store stock transaction and recording accuracy (Receives, issues and return) using  the WMS & Inventory Management System
  • Verify sales orders, issuing and return forms before actual transactions of stock and records the same information to the WMS & Inventory Management System and properly handle records.
  • Conduct monthly inventory count, checks and reconciles actual stock items against Inventory Management System balances and generate reports.
  • Monitor incoming materials load factor and based on this indicates improvement opportunities, monitors shelf life records for supervised stock ,highlight potential off-shell life incidents early on. Maintain proper documentation for both.
  • Ensure proper & safe functioning of material handling and storage equipment’s in the WH , Responsible for safety and agronomy of all activities in NTM/FG warehouse and its workers.
  • Materially responsible for supervised stock

 People Management:

  •  Supervise, coordinate and assign FG & NTM Store staff with daily task & conduct performance evaluation of the staff

 Others:

  •  Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager’s request

Job Requirements

Education:

  • BA degree in management/accounting or related field
  • Excellent computer & Microsoft office skill
  •  Forklift operating license (optional but of additional benefit)

Work experience:

  • Minimum  of 4 years in related fields
