Description: 

We are looking for experienced, artistic, detail-oriented candidates with good communication skills for the position of furniture and interior designer. The designer’s key responsibilities include visualizing and sketching design as per client goals, sourcing products and materials, providing detail drawings and inspecting manufacturing to ensure alignment with design specifications are met. Proficiency in Revit, sketch up, lumion, Photoshop or similar software.

Employment Condition:  Permanent after 60 days of probation

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Taking measurements, sketching, producing designs and prototypes.
• Study, research and plan various styles of furniture design
• Find ways to improve furniture items already manufactured
• Stay informed about design trends and developments
• Discuss designs with clients for custom ordering or with manufacturers
• Generate sample designs using computer-aided design (CAD), card models, sketches or hard prototypes
• Use software packages such as AutoCAD, inventor, solid works, and Photoshop
• Prepare detailed final designs
• Liaise with craftsmen or production department staff (such as production managers, marketing staff and design engineers) about the process of construction or manufacture

Qualifications and Work Experience:

• MSC\BSC\Diploma in Architecture, Drafting, Drawing, Interior Design, Wooding Design and/or related fields with a minimum of 5\7\10 years of work experience in similar working environment.
